Material Composition:
Compact HPL is made from multiple layers of phenolic resin-impregnated kraft paper, finished with a decorative layer and an optional protective overlay.
Manufacturing Process:
These layers are bonded under extreme heat and pressure to form a dense, solid, self-supporting board—typically thicker than 2 mm.
Key Characteristics:
Compact HPL offers outstanding resistance to impact, scratching, abrasion, and moisture. As a solid-grade panel, it does not require bonding to a substrate, unlike traditional thinner HPL sheets.
